British journalists, together with representatives of the tour operator Jet2holidays, visited Montenegro as part of an organized study trip aimed at promoting the destination to the UK market.

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, in cooperation with one of the largest British tour operators – Jet2holidays, organized a study visit for journalists from the United Kingdom from April 23 to 27.

As part of this visit, Montenegro was toured by representatives of renowned media outlets: The Sun, Travel Weekly, Newsquest, and The i, which collectively reach millions of readers across the UK.

On the second day, the host of the group was the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi, which prepared a highly attractive program for the occasion. The four-member group of journalists, accompanied by representatives of Jet2holidays, had the opportunity to explore the beauty of the Old Town, the Pet Danica Promenade, as well as the unique features of the Luštica Peninsula, including an introduction to the tradition of olive oil production. A gastronomic experience was provided by renowned hotel and hospitality establishments that have been cooperating with this tour operator for many years.

In addition to Herceg Novi, the journalists also visited some of the most attractive locations in Kotor, Budva, Tivat, Cetinje, as well as Lake Skadar, gaining insight into the country's natural beauty, cultural and historical heritage, and gastronomic offerings.

The Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi expressed gratitude to its partners: Lazure Hotel & Marina, Casa del Mare Boutique Hotels, Moric Olive Farm, and JUK Herceg Fest, who contributed to creating the overall experience and promoting the destination.
