Montenegro's tourist offer has been presented in the British magazine Wanderlust, one of the leading British media dedicated to travel. The published text presents Montenegro as a destination that in the autumn months offers diverse opportunities for a vacation.
The article emphasizes that in the relatively small area of Montenegro, diverse landscapes meet, from the Adriatic coast and medieval coastal towns to high mountain peaks, canyons, lakes and forest areas.
Special emphasis is placed on autumn as an ideal period to explore the country, when more pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds and a more relaxed atmosphere allow visitors to experience the destination more slowly and directly.
Among the recommendations for an active vacation, the cable car ride from Kotor to Lovcen, hiking trails on Orjen and Rumija, as well as exploring national parks and canyons are highlighted. A special place in the text is occupied by cultural and historical heritage, coastal towns and gastronomy as an important part of the overall experience of the destination.
Wanderlust magazine is published in a circulation of over 350,000 copies per issue, while its website is visited by up to 1.2 million users per month, which makes it a significant channel for promotion of Montenegro on the British market.
We remind you that Montenegro is nominated for the prestigious Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2026, in the category "Most Desirable European Destination", thanks to the votes of readers of this renowned British magazine.
The award winners will be announced on November 4, 2026, at a ceremony that will be held during the World Travel Market (WTM) London fair, where Wanderlust participates as an official media partner.
