Interest in the Illusions Montenegro Festival has exceeded the organizers' expectations, with 60% of festival tickets selling out within just five days of the lineup announcement. This overwhelming response confirms that the event, taking place 13–15 August at Nomade Beach on Velika Plaža (Long Beach) in Ulcinj, is set to become one of the most anticipated music festivals of the summer and the largest edition of the Illusions Festival ever held in Montenegro.

Organizers promise a world-class production, spectacular audio-visual stage design, and three nights of premium electronic music on one of the Adriatic's most stunning beaches.

Techno Legends and International Stars

The opening night will mark the long-awaited return of one of the world's most influential techno artists, Sam Paganini, who will perform in Montenegro for the first time in ten years.

Sam Paganini Returns to Montenegro

Italian DJ and producer Sam Paganini, creator of the global techno anthem "Rave", is one of the biggest names in modern techno. With more than two decades of experience, performances at the world's leading festivals, and releases on legendary labels including Drumcode, Plus8, and Cocoon, Paganini has established himself as one of the genre's most sought-after artists.

His powerful, hypnotic sets have earned him worldwide recognition, and this August fans will finally witness his long-awaited return to the Montenegrin coast.

Sharing the stage on the festival's opening day will be Salomé, one of Europe's fastest-rising techno artists. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, and now based in Berlin, she is known for blending techno, melodic techno, and progressive sounds into an energetic and immersive club experience.

Salomé has appeared at some of the world's premier festivals, including:

  • Tomorrowland
  • Sónar
  • Dekmantel
  • Dour Festival

Her high-energy performances and contemporary productions continue to build her reputation on the international electronic music scene.

The regional lineup will be strengthened by acclaimed DJ and producer Ilija Đoković, alongside Denada, representing the new generation of Balkan electronic artists. 




A Night Dedicated to Melodic Techno

The festival's second evening will spotlight melodic techno, led by Italian duo Fideles, one of the leading names in today's electronic music scene.

Comprised of Daniele M. Aprile and Mario Roberti, Fideles have gained worldwide recognition through releases on labels such as:

  • Afterlife
  • Innervisions
  • Correspondant
  • Ultra Records

Collaborations with artists including CamelPhat, Monolink, WhoMadeWho, Vintage Culture, and Benny Benassi have further cemented their international status.

Having performed at Ibiza's legendary clubs and the world's biggest festivals, Fideles continue pushing the boundaries of melodic electronic music.

Joining them will be Magdalena, one of the most respected names in melodic techno and indie dance. She has performed at globally renowned events including:

  • Zamna
  • Cercle
  • Resistance


Her releases on Zamna Records, Renaissance Records, and Warung Recordings, together with her exclusive Circoloco Radio mix, have established her among today's most sought-after DJs and producers.

The night will also feature local support from DJ Nexie, founder of Illusions, together with Enklavaparci and Lazar, artists whose distinctive sound is attracting growing attention across the regional electronic music community. 



Patrick Topping Headlines the Closing Night

The festival concludes with one of Britain's most celebrated DJs, Patrick Topping, a global star of the house and tech-house scene.

Since his breakthrough in 2013, Patrick Topping has become a regular at the world's leading clubs and festivals. Known for his energetic house and techno performances, he has collaborated with artists such as Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson, while also remixing tracks by The Streets and Calvin Harris.

As founder of the Trick label and event brand, Topping actively supports emerging talent while maintaining a prominent role on the global electronic music stage.

The final day will also feature performances by Stacie Fields, alongside local favourites Mene, Diggie, and Drajzer, bringing the three-day festival to a spectacular close.
