The people of Kotor have shown that they know how to create an atmosphere by nurturing a 505-year-old tradition this year as well - with a fantastic carnival parade and burning of the carnival, last night the traditional winter carnival festivities ended.
Numerous visitors enjoyed the rich colors of the original costumes and the satirical spirit of the locals, which was described in this year's newspaper "Karampani", which is published as part of the carnival.
Led by Carnival Cap Branko Knezović, over 30 carnival groups, imaginative and numerous masks from all over Boka, guests from Novi Sad, Bela Church, Rijeka, City Music from Kotor and Đenović, majorettes "Fešta" and "Alisa" from Kotor and "Modest" from Tivat, as well as residents of the Home for the Elderly "Grabovac" from Risno, also magnified such a large procession that sent Domenik Akrobat, known as Technical, to his eternal rest.
