From October 6 to 9, Tivat and Montenegro are hosting the Europa Cup regatta for the ILCA class, for which 85 competitors from 13 European countries and distant Bahrain took part. From Thursday to Sunday, they will compete in three categories - Olympic ILCA 7, transitional class for men - ILCA 6 and ILCA 4 for girls.

This will be the third major international competition organized by the people of Tivat, with which the Delfin Sailing Club continues to position Montenegro on the map of recognizable European sailing destinations. 



EurILCA is the European organization for the ILCA class, coordinating all 42 European countries, issuing guidelines, regatta notices and sailing instructions, managing the calendar and entries of all European Championship, Europa Cup and Master Series regattas. The exceptional experience of cooperation with Delfin from Tivat in the organization of the European Championship for the ILCA under-21 class, which was held with the support of Luštica Development in Trašte Bay in 2021, decided the European ILCA Federation to entrust our club with the organization of the Europa Cup regatta. Sailors from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Cyprus, Greece, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Ukraine, Germany, distant Bahrain and the host country, Montenegro, registered to participate in this competition.

The opening ceremony of the Europa Cup is scheduled at the Delfin Sailing Club, Šetalište Seljanovo 8, Tivat, on Thursday, October 6 at 6 p.m.
