An article highlighting Montenegro as an exceptionally attractive destination offering excellent value for money, especially compared to neighboring Croatia, has been published in the British media outlet Inews, according to the National Tourism Organization (NTO).
The article was published as a result of a study visit by journalists from the United Kingdom, supported by the NTO.
The multi-award-winning British travel writer Andrew Eames, who writes for many British media outlets, had the opportunity to explore Montenegro's tourist offerings from April 22 to 25.
In the article for the Inews portal, he detailed his experience in Kotor, emphasizing the natural beauty, cultural-historical landmarks, and affordable prices.
"Kotor has been known as an 'air spa' for over a thousand years: The area around the UNESCO-protected site is covered with plants that have endemic medicinal properties – beneficial for allergies and all kinds of respiratory issues. It's also quite pleasing to the eye. From my room, I looked out over Perast, a waterside village with Venetian villas, and watched the sunset on the opposite shore. Majestic mountains surround the entire bay, rising up to 900 meters above sea level," the article states.

The Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort provided Eames with a luxurious experience at a significantly lower price than similar hotels in Dubrovnik.
In addition to the affordable accommodation, food, and activities compared to Dubrovnik, the British journalist also highlighted the natural beauty of Kotor. He had the opportunity to visit the two islands of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks, as well as the St. John Fortress, for which he noted that the challenging climb is rewarded with a magnificent view of the entire bay.
Considering that the print version of this media outlet reaches about 130,000 readers and the portal over eight million readers, the article is expected to attract significant attention. This article further strengthens Montenegro's position in the UK market, promoting it as a destination that offers an unforgettable vacation for every budget.
