Ferry Dubrovnik this season on the line Bar-Bari - Start of sailing in June
The sea line Bar-Bari will be connected this season by the passenger ship Dubrovnik, the Croatian company Jadrolinija.
- The start of navigation of the Dubrovnik ferry on the Bar-Bari line has been agreed in principle for June 7 - it was confirmed to the Coastal Portal from the company Barska plovidba.
The management of Barska plovidba is in preliminary agreements with Jadrolinija from Rijeka, whose passenger ship will connect the Montenegrin and Italian coasts for the sixth year in a row.
The Bar-Bari line will be maintained by Jadrolinija's ferry Dubrovnik, which, thanks to its capacity and the contents of cabin accommodation and restaurants, offers passengers a pleasant connection to the Adriatic coast.
The ship Dubrovnik is moving at a speed of 20 knots, and its maximum capacity is 1.3 thousand passengers. The capacity of the vehicle is 300 cars. The ship has 148 cabins with a total of 457 beds.
The passenger ship Dubrovnik will be under repair during May, and last year it had its first voyage on June 1.
The ferry Sveti Stefan 2 returned in December 2016 from the last trip on the line Bar-Bari-Bar, where it was anchored at pier five for six months.
In May 2017, the "white Saint" sailed to the Turkish site. It was sold at a price of 265 USD per ton.
The shipping line with Italy was established in 1965, since Montenegro has been connected to Europe by a regular sea line for all 12 months.
After 52 years of the Bar-Bari-Bar line, Montenegro, a coastal and maritime state, was left without a white fleet.
