The most read French regional newspaper "Ouest France" published an article about Montenegro after the National Tourist Organization hosted their journalist Ivo Ardi, who conveyed impressions from Montenegro to the readers of this French newspaper.
He pointed out that the country, with only 630,000 inhabitants, has offers for quality vacations.
"The small country, a favorite on the Adriatic coast, has several natural gems such as the Bay of Kotor and Lake Skadar. Whether you come by boat from Croatian Dubrovnik or from the mainland, the Bay of Kotor will undoubtedly give you a view of the most beautiful fjord of the southern Mediterranean ", the article reads.
During his stay in Montenegro, Ardi visited Kolašin, Biogradska gora National Park, Cetinje, visited Perast, Kotor, Budva and Bar. His tour of the coast included everything from the luxurious offer of Sveti Stefan, Luštica and Porto Monetengra to the peaceful fishing village of Bjelila. He described Skadar Lake as "a huge body of water surrounded by the most beautiful greenery, where pelicans are the hosts." For Bar, he states that it can be recognized by the olive tree that is more than 2,200 years old, by the cobblestones and streets in the Old Town, while in the north it stands out Kolašin and NP Biogradska gora with its wild nature.
In addition to cultural and historical sights and natural beauties, Ardi had the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomic offer of Montenegro. Before returning to his country, he visited the Šipčanik wine cellar, where he tasted wines from the Plantaža company.
