At the end of December of the previous year, the second humanitarian race "Budva runs" was organized, and now that small running community is moving to the island of Sveti Nikola. Enter March 30 as a day for running on the largest island on the Montenegrin coast and have an unforgettable experience of running and socializing
The island of Sveti Nikola, also known as Školj, is located in the immediate vicinity of Budva's beaches and is very visited during the summer tourist season. It is rich in lush Mediterranean vegetation and is the natural habitat of numerous animal species. It is a real example of wild beauty and untouched nature. BU2 Island Mini Trail is a race organized for the second year in a row by Triathlon Club Budva with the help of the main sponsor Mega Promet Budva, in two formats:
MALI ĐIR (small circle) – 2.88 km long, 94 D+, suitable for recreationists and hiking enthusiasts,
VELIKI ĐIR (large circle) - in the length of 5.8 (two laps), 188 D+, for more experienced and trail runners. The number of competitors is limited to 50, both for the small and for the big jire!
Applications close on March 23, and registration is confirmed by paying the registration fee to the giro account of the club, ADDIKO BANK 555-0009003675634-65.

Each participant who successfully completes one of the races receives a start package that includes:
boat transport to the island and back,
electronic timing,
supplement,
refreshments and lunch after the race,
a unique finisher,

Time and place of meeting: March 30, 2024.
8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – registration and allocation of starting numbers at Mozzart restaurant 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – meeting at Porto Budva restaurant,
10:00 a.m. - departure by boat to the island of Sveti Nikola. Arrival on the island, warm-up, briefing,
11:00 a.m. – start of the Mali jire race, time trial principle, every 15 seconds,
12:30 p.m. – start of the Veliki jir race, time trial principle, every 15 seconds,
2:00 p.m. – expected finish, photo shoot, refreshments and announcement of winners,
2.30 pm & 4.00 pm – departure by boat to Budva.
In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the organizer reserves the right to postpone the race in favor of the safety of all competitors.
