The International Budva Carnival, which will be held this year for the 20th anniversary, is scheduled for the period from April 28 to May 2, Primorski Portal writes. The carnival is organized under the slogan "Let's dance together, so that our hearts beat harder", and the organizers - Budva Tourist Organization and NGO Festađuni announce the biggest carnival so far on the square in front of and inside the Old Town.

During the four-day program, the traditional Abrum, the Great Carnival Parade will be held, which will gather a record 3,000 participants from 10 countries around the world, the Children's Carnival, the carnival and masquerade show, and 25 concerts and musical performances by 100 performers at 4 locations.

The carnival festivities begin with the performance of the musical performance, the cantata "Apollo and Daphne" (G.F. Handel) on the square in front of the Old Town and a unique invitation to the carnival - the abrum, on Friday, April 28, when merry carnival participants will parade, dance and sing through the Old Town. all present to join them, and local restaurateurs serve passers-by with authentic delicacies.

On the same evening, local DJs Nikola Šoć, Stefan Anđušić, Fix, the group Priganitze, the hip-hop collective Radio Katakomba, the cult hip-hop group TBF from Split, then the DJ duo Šćepine vragolije and Luton will perform at several locations within the walls of the Old Town. and versatile musician Marko Milošević - MKDSL (Kluboslavija concept) who come from Belgrade.


Great carnival parade on April 29

The big international carnival parade, which starts from the Main Post Office at 7:30 p.m., will mark Saturday, April 29. After the presentation of more than 60 groups on the square in front of the Old Town, the Carnival show follows, a special performance by foreign carnival groups.

Inside the Old Town, on the piazza by the house of Ćekrdeković, Trg Palmi and on the plateau in front of the Jadranska straža, from 8 p.m. the regionally increasingly popular and sought-after duo Buč Cassidy and DJ Runy from Novi Sad will perform with the support of Montenegrin DJs: Lazar & Vuk ("Radio Zunzar" ), Buba, Burkakke and John K, as well as local bands Jack Lupino & Izzy Babe and Priganitze.

The third day of the program will be dedicated to the youngest. The Children's Carnival, that is, the Small Carnival Parade, which will include over 20 groups, will start at 3:30 p.m. from the City Kindergarten on Sunday, April 30.

The little ones will present their creative and carefully thought-out masks in the square in front of the Old Town, followed by a masked ball show during which costumed animators will entertain the children until the late afternoon.

The evening part of the program on Sunday starts at 8 p.m. on the big stage in front of the Old Town, when a band consisting of professional classical and rock musicians, who are the only ones in Montenegro to perform Irish music, O'Conrads, will perform, after which the concert will be performed by the coastal pop- rock band The Grupa.

At 10:30 p.m., the legendary group from Sarajevo, Letu Stuka, will take the stage. Inside the Old Town, on the plateau in front of the Adriatic Guard, Una Andrea & Anyushka from Belgrade, Montenegrin DJs Lerr & Straks and regional DJ attraction After Affair will perform on the same evening.

And on holiday Monday, May 1, it will be cheerful in front of the Old Town. At 3 p.m., the music and dance program called "Budva dances" begins, while in the evening the concert will be held by the Budva City Music and the unusual pop-rock band "Tantra brothers", whose members are musicians from Russia, Ukraine, Israel and France living in Budva.

At 10:30 p.m., music star, singer and songwriter Vlado Georgiev will take over the stage.
