During July, Portonovi really showed that it is the address for the best events of this summer. Over 170 thousand visitors, 30% more than in the same period last year, enjoyed the squares of Portonovo with the ABBA tribute band with the symphony orchestra, Nina Badrić, Jelena Tomašević, Ivan Bosiljčića, Detour, Mjesnu muziku Đenović and many others, and in August you can expect more concerts that are free for all visitors.
In addition to concerts, Portonovi hosted numerous artists and was also a venue for sporting events for young and old.
On Saturday, August 5, Queen Symphony Sensation, a tribute band of the popular rock group Queen, will perform on Marina Square, accompanied by a symphony orchestra. The program on the square starts at 20:00 when DJ Lucky Dee will warm up the audience.
On August 9, the Marina square was reserved for the Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra (BGKO). BGKO is an international ensemble of musicians based in Barcelona that became famous for their interpretations of traditional music from the Balkans, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. The unique sound that delighted audiences around the world is created by the different artistic influences of its members: Margherita Abita (voice, Italy), lvan Kovačević (double bass, Serbia), Julien Chanal (guitar, France), Oleksandr Sora (violin, Ukraine), Fernando Salinas ( accordion, Spain), Xavi Pendón (clarinet, Spain) and Albert Enkaminanco (percussion, Spain). Before them, DJ Marko Milošević (MKDSL) will perform at Marina Square from 8:00 p.m.
On Friday, August 11, a fun evening is planned for the whole family. From 19:00, various animators will perform on Marina Square, on stilts, unicycles and others, and the band Crveno i crno is responsible for the musical accompaniment.
The Montenegro Essence concert will be organized on August 18 at Vista trg in Portonovo from 8:00 p.m. and represents a combination of different musical genres through a dialogue of an unusual composition of musical ensemble instruments. This concert by the guitar duo Nikčević and Bulatović will be accompanied by an orchestra made up of strings, brass, harmonica, bass guitar and percussion. The power of this ensemble offers a wide sound range from subtle romantic melodies to unusual thundering irregular Balkan rhythms.

Young artist Petar Wagner (Fantom) after shooting the music video for the song "Miris Jadrana" returns to Portonova on Saturday, August 19, where he will hold a concert on Trg u naselje. Fantom is a performer, author and producer who became known in the region for the retro ballad "Barbara" and specific, stylish arrangements of ex-yu pop rock songs. His concerts are energetic and dynamic, and members of both younger and older generations can be found among the audience in halls throughout the region. Fantom is currently working on the preparation of a new album, and the first single from it is the song "Miris Jadrana" about nostalgic memories of summers spent in the Mediterranean.
In addition to concerts, many events for the youngest are being organized in Portonovo this summer. On August 3, at the Marina Square, we are expecting "Montenegro's Road to Paris: Celebrating the Olympic Spirit" on the occasion of the promotion of the 2024 Olympic Games. The goal is to present not only the road to Paris, but also the history of our athletes at the Games in one place through fun and games. , interesting Olympic events, promote Olympic values and way of life.
Also, the fourth "Portonovi Kids' Games" will be organized on August 20 with multi-purpose fields and games for children from 4 to 12 years old. After that, on August 26, there will be another event in cooperation with the Montenegrin Olympic Committee.
