Montenegro was among the finalists for the prestigious British travel agents Travel Gossip Awards 2023, in the "Favorite hidden destination" category, according to the PR service of the National Tourist Organization.
It is a prestigious event "Travel Celebration", in which travel agents from Great Britain vote for the most desirable destination via the online platform "Travel Gossip".
In the race for this title, Montenegro competes with destinations such as: Halkidiki, Costa Rica, British Columbia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Travel Gossip's prestigious award show, "The Travel Celebration" will take place on March 28, 2023 in London, in collaboration with Gold Medal, Pure Lukuri, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys.
"This nomination contributes to the improvement of the image and promotion of Montenegro as a tourist destination in Great Britain, since Travel Gossip is a specialized platform that gathers thousands of travel agents and tour operators from this market through social networks, e-marketing and road shows" - it is stated in the statement.
That our country is positioned in Europe as an attractive tourist destination is also confirmed by the data of the European Travel Commission (ETC), according to which Montenegro was in second place on the list of TOP 5 best-rated destinations in the period from October 2021 to September 2022. .
Voting is ongoing and lasts until January 29, 2023, during which travel agents from Great Britain can choose their favorites via THIS link.
