Representatives of Austrian television are filming a show about the natural beauties of Montenegro

Representatives of the Austrian television network Servus TV are currently filming a show about the natural beauty of Montenegro with the support of the National Tourist Organization (NTO), with a special focus on numerous opportunities for active tourism, as well as the country's natural and cultural riches.

"After the filming is completed, Montenegro will be promoted in the BERGWELTEN program, which is highly popular in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, with the fact that the television program attracts 5.5 million viewers on a monthly basis speaking to its popularity," states the NTO's announcement.

According to the statement, it wasn't easy for the Servus TV representatives to sum up all their impressions after spending several days in Montenegro, and they emphasized that after visiting many countries, few have left such a strong impression on them.

"Durmitor is truly one of those places that leave you speechless. When I first stood before these mountain peaks, I felt like I had stepped into a magical world. Every moment spent in nature brought us a sense of peace and harmony," said the report's director, Werner Bertolan Regie.

He highlighted that Durmitor is a natural wonder and recommended that everyone embark on an adventure to explore this region.

Viewers will be guided through this journey by Simon Messner, the son of the famous European mountaineer Reinhold Messner, who is familiar with some of the most challenging mountain regions worldwide.

Montenegro is not well-known to him, so he has expressed interest in exploring its mountainous areas, getting to know the country and its people.

"Hardly any other country can compete with Montenegro when it comes to spectacular landscapes. This relatively small Balkan country hides so much, and its diversity is extremely appealing," said Simon Messner.

The show's producer, Max Reichel, expressed great satisfaction with the opportunity to film a program about Montenegro, seeing significant potential there.

"Montenegro is not only beautiful because of its natural beauty but also because of its extremely hospitable and kind people. Their hospitality makes working on this show even more inspiring. Through this program, we hope to share with audiences worldwide the story of your country as a tourist destination, about its people and natural beauty," Reichel said.

In addition to the NTO, the visit was supported by the National Parks (NPCG) and local tourist organizations from Gusinje, Podgorica, Cetinje, Kolašin, Kotor, and Bar.

In the coming period, as they announced, the NTO will continue promoting the destination in the German-speaking region, hosting tour operators and journalists from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
