JP Ski Resorts of Montenegro is ready to welcome the upcoming winter tourist season, which is scheduled to open on the 18th of this month, says Natasa Pajovic, Assistant Executive Director of Ski Resorts of Montenegro.
Pajović points out that the commissioning of the K8 cable car and the ski infrastructure is planned for the middle of the month. These days, the K7 cable car is expected to be connected to the electricity infrastructure, followed by a trial test and its commissioning.
"When the K7 cable car is put into operation, the Kolašin 1600 and Kolašin 1450 ski resorts will function together. Then we will have 45 km of ski trails and be competitive with ski resorts in the region "- Pajović pointed out.
From this year, says Pajović, the Kolašin 1600 Ski Center will also offer a beginner's lane, while intensive work is being done to expand the capacity of the parking space.
"This year, there will be an additional 400 parking spaces available, while ski rentals will offer new high-quality equipment," said Pajović.
Until the official opening of the season, the Trogava restaurant will be open for the visitors of this Ski Center, as well as the toboggan run - intended for the youngest visitors. Pajović reminds that the ski resorts have signed contracts with the ski resorts of Serbia and the Jahorina Olympic Center, so that all buyers of seasonal ski resorts receive a voucher for three days of skiing in these centers.
She also points out that the ski resorts are continuously working on their promotion, so they presented their offer at the tourism fair in Tirana, and in cooperation with the NTO, they hosted a group of tour operators from Albania.
"After visiting the tour operator from Turkey, we also hosted tour operators from Albania. This is especially important, because a large number of tourists who visit this Ski Center come from this country. We expect a good visit of tourists from this market this season as well ", said Pajovć...
