A large carnival procession marched through Budva last night, to the delight of locals and visitors from the region and beyond, who gathered in large numbers to see off the second day of the International Tourist Carnival held under the slogan "Long live love".
The carnival is organized by the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva and the NGO "Festađuni", and in addition to good fun due to the procession of creative and various masks, music performers who performed at concerts throughout the Old Town, as well as the program on Painter Square.
The big carnival procession consisted of more than 1,000 participants from various parts of Europe, said Ognjen Musikic from the TO of the municipality of Budva.
"At the same time, concerts were organized at several locations, which are enjoyed by a large number of people, and a rich program awaits us in the coming days," said Mušikić.
He said that the carnival is a good introduction to the upcoming tourist season, as well as that it revives the city and restores its old spirit and charm.
One of the visitors to the carnival was Snežana Terzić, who was also a participant before, and who did not hide her enthusiasm for the blue procession. "I try to come to this carnival every year, full of heart and soul. I invite people to form a group and participate in this, in order to feel that energy ", said Terzić.
Elena Jovović also arrived in Budva, who decided to spend the May Day holidays in a cheerful, carnival atmosphere.

The International Tourist Carnival in Budva, held under the slogan "Long live love", will last until Monday, May 2.
On Sunday, there will be a children's carnival, as well as performances by famous artists: Refugee Jesus & Apostles, The Group, TAP 011, Indira Forza ex Colonia, Chbx b2b Nikola Šoć, Kristijan Molnar b2b After Affair.
