The Tara Canyon, 80 km long, is one of the deepest canyons in the world (1,300 m), right after Colorado, and is the deepest canyon in Europe. Steep, narrow, with sharp edges hundreds of meters deep, the canyon is rich in caves of various sizes and appearances, mysterious, deep and shallow, dark and bright. Tara got its water from the snow from the surrounding mountains, as well as from the numerous springs that abound in this canyon. Perhaps the most famous such source is Bajlovića sige, a whole network of waterfalls, which water from the Bučevica cave flows into Tara, 150 meters wide, with water falling in some places up to 30 meters. Here you can enjoy the play of water and its flow through the limestone sculptures that water itself has ruled for centuries.
