Budva this summer proves to be a favorite Montenegrin tourist destination.

According to the latest data from the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva, there are about 48,000 guests in one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic, which is 83% compared to the same period in 2019. Out of the total number, about 47,000 are foreign tourists.

There are 15,600 guests in collective accommodation, which is even 9% more than in 2019, while in individual accommodation, ie. more than 31,000 guests are staying in private accommodation, ie 75% compared to the same period two years ago.

The most numerous tourists accommodated in rooms and apartments of Budva private publishers are from Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, while in hotels, in addition to the mentioned markets, a significant number of guests from Israel, Kazakhstan, France, Poland, Turkey, Germany and others.

The July data are good indicators and excellent preconditions for the continuation of positive trends, as evidenced by the optimistic announcements of Budva hoteliers for August, but also the postseason, when the prices of bed and breakfast will continue to be affordable and will range from 30 euros in three-star hotels. up to 75 and more euros in 5-star hotels.

Reacting to the latest epidemiological measures which temporarily ban the work of open-air and indoor discos and nightclubs until August 2, the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva points out that the enviable number of tourists staying in that city these days speaks of Budva's recognizability as the most important tourist destination in Montenegro.

All tourists who need a PCR test to return to their home country are provided with free testing at the Budva Health Center, and the protocol of the Ministry of Health stipulates that guests who (possibly) get the Covid-19 virus in Montenegro, and require hospital treatment, I can treat for free, ie. at the expense of the state.
