Medzik Johnson visiting Montenegro: Montenegro is spectacular, Our Lady of Rock is one of the most beautiful experiences in life

One of the best basketball players of all time visited our country
In previous decades, many stars of the world's jet-set and sports have paraded along the Montenegrin coast, but few are as enthusiastic about the charms of our country as Irwin Magic Johnson.

In previous years, the legendary basketball player cruised the Croatian coast on his yacht "Aquila", and now he came to Montenegro for the first time. And "fell off my feet".

"It's exciting when Kuki and I can explore a new country, and Montenegro is spectacular. We are here for the first time and this country looks beautiful and luxurious," Johnson wrote on the X network, formerly known as Twitter, where he also shared several photos and videos "captured" from the yacht.

"Cookie and I had one of the greatest experiences of our lives today visiting Our Lady of the Rocks, one of two man-made islets in Montenegro. Legend has it in 1452, two brothers who were heading home to Perast after a dangerous voyage, one with an injured leg, spotted something on a rocky outcrop. When they went to see what it was, they discovered an icon of the Virgin Mary and Child."

Magic Johnson is an icon of world basketball. He spent two years at Michigan State University, and in 1979 he won the NCAA title in a duel with Larry Bird and his Indiana State, in the most watched college match ever.

That was the beginning of one of the biggest rivalries in the history of the "Queen of Games". Johnson was chosen as the first pick in the draft in 1979 and went to the LA Lakers, and Bird to Boston. Magic's appearance changed the view of playmakers, because he shone in that position with 206 centimeters and 100 kilograms, and in his NBA career he averaged 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and even 11.2 assists.

He was a five-time NBA champion, nine years in a row on the team of the season, and he is the only player in history who was the Finals MVP as a Rookie. He won that award three times (1980, 1982 and 1987), and he was the most valuable player of the regular course of the league in 1987, 1989 and 1990.
