Skadar Lake Featured in the Global Netflix Series The Dinosaurs

Skadar Lake, a national park and one of the most beautiful natural treasures of Montenegro, has found its place in the global documentary series The Dinosaurs, which has been streaming on Netflix since March 6.

The local production company Solutions4You played an important role in helping to film scenes at Skadar Lake for this ambitious series. 

What is "The Dinosaurs" about?

"The Dinosaurs" is a four-part documentary series that explores the lives of prehistoric giants—from their emergence around 235 million years ago to their extinction. It follows how they evolved, dominated the planet, and how their long "reign" came to an end tens of millions of years ago.

The series is narrated by the renowned Morgan Freeman and backed by major production forces such as Steven Spielberg, along with companies that have worked on other large-scale nature projects for Netflix.

The series has been praised for its impressive visual reconstructions, scientific approach, and educational storytelling. It showcases various species of dinosaurs—from the smallest ancestors to the largest creatures ever to walk the Earth.
