To the delight of many visitors, the holiday season in Portonovi began with the ceremonial lighting of one of the region's largest Christmas trees. The event featured performances by the Herceg Novi City Music Band, a parade of young majorettes, as well as the children's choir Cvrkutići and the KUD Sloga dance group.
Year after year, the resort continues to prove itself as the perfect location for a winter getaway, offering a wide array of events that the whole family can enjoy.
"The Portonovi holiday season marks the end of a successful year for us. This December, we have many reasons to celebrate. For the fourth year in a row, Portonovi and Herceg Novi demonstrate that the seaside is a fantastic choice even during the winter season. This year, Portonovi will host numerous events, including activities for children, concerts, performances by bands and DJs, as well as the Portonovi Holiday Bazaar," said Rashad Aliyev, CEO of Portonovi Resort.
Holiday Bazaar Opening
The Portonovi Holiday Bazaar is set to open on December 21 at 4 PM, offering a rich selection of delicacies across nine festive stalls, complemented by warm mulled wine or hot chocolate. The bazaar will operate:
The opening of the bazaar will feature performances by the Đenović Local Music Band and majorettes, with the highlight of the evening being a spectacular SHOW TIME concert by the Novi Sad Big Band with Bojana Stamenov.
"One&Only Portonovi Resort will once again be the center of festive magic and traditional celebrations this year. Restaurants and cafés in the resort are also preparing special programs for New Year's Eve, offering guests a variety of ways to enjoy the holidays," Aliyev added.
Portonovi's holiday season promises a diverse lineup of musical events catering to all tastes. The program includes performances by DJs, renowned bands, and regional stars, culminating with a concert by Petar Grašo on January 8.
Admission to all concerts is free, and parking is available within the resort for a fee.
