The National Tourism Organization (NTO) supported the stay of the crew of the Spanish national television TVE 2 in order to record an episode of the show Paths of the World /Senderos del mundo/.

Representatives of the TV crew, led by the show's protagonist Juan Frutos, stayed in Montenegro from Friday to Monday and filmed in the area of Kotor, Budva and Bar. Special emphasis was placed on natural and cultural treasures.

NTO said that representatives of the Spanish national television team had the opportunity to visit Perast during their stay, and they were particularly impressed by the island of Our Lady of Škrpjela, which they say is a real attraction in Montenegro. In addition, they visited the old towns and the hiking trail through the untouched natural environment on the island of Sveti Nikola in Budva.

Frutas, who is the main director and protagonist of the show Paths of the World, said that he had already stayed in the Bay of Kotor and wanted to shoot the footage here because this place is truly amazing.

"I am very much looking forward to the fact that the viewers of our show will have the opportunity to see these places and I believe that we will bring this unique environment closer to them," said Frutas.

He stated that the panoramic route called Bar na two magical shores is fairytale-like, and that the sea and lake shores offer a colorful landscape that will be shown in their episode.

According to him, the combination of untouched nature and cultural heritage makes it possible to experience the authenticity and diversity of this region.

They were impressed by the chestnut forest near Ostros, a village in the hinterland of Lake Skadar, and they were especially delighted by the stories from history. They had the opportunity to talk with the local population about Montenegrin tradition, history and legends.

Paths of the world /Senderos del mundo/ shows the routes of five continents. Through several episodes, the three protagonists travel around the world, getting to know the natural beauty, historical heritage, and traditional cuisine of the countries they visit.

Journalist and producer, who always travels with his dog, Juan Frutos, is the main protagonist and director of this show. In addition to the numerous places they visited in Spain, they filmed the show in countries such as Cyprus, Jordan, Norway, Greece, Ireland, Germany and Israel, and now in Montenegro.

Since the first season, broadcast in 2019 on TVE 2, the series has had a great viewership. The show can be found on the RTVE Play platform, which is one of the most visited in Spain with 14 million users per day and is broadcast in 80 countries through TVE Internacional, and at the end of the series a guide and mobile application Senderos del Mundo will be created.
