Bearing in mind the influence of the mentioned media, it is expected that this campaign will result in an improved image of Montenegro on the UK market and contribute to the growth of interest from this market.

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro implemented an intensive promotional campaign in the leading British media.

The most read British dailies "The Times" and "Daily Mail" in their digital editions with an audience of one million, included Montenegro in the list of TOP ten best vacation destinations in 2023. Montenegro is among the most polar destinations such as Greece, Spain and Portugal.

Also, the printed editions of "The Guardian" and "Sunday Times" presented Montenegro as a desirable tourist destination, which offers numerous opportunities for vacation either at the sea or in the mountains, at more affordable prices compared to competing destinations.

"The beauty of this emerald jewel, the warm Mediterranean climate throughout the year, the culture and hospitality of the Montenegrins, combined with the accessibility of the country, make Montenegro an unmissable travel destination this year," the articles conclude.

For travel lovers, they recommend some of the destinations in Montenegro that they should explore.

"UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the medieval Kotor Cathedral and palaces, five national parks from Biogradska Gora forest to Lake Skadar, but also 117 beaches along the Adriatic coast, from hidden coves to wide sandy beaches," the articles state.

In addition, Montenegro was on the cover of the prestigious British magazine specialized in business travel "Business Traveler", which in its July-August issue dedicated five pages to our country as a must-see destination in the article entitled "Why travelers choose Montenegro as a luxury destination this summer ?".

Articles in which Montenegro is the recommended destination for this summer were published on June 17 in The Guardian, which is distributed in 220,000 copies, on June 28 in the digital edition of the Daily Mail, which reaches over 200,000 views, on June 30 in the digital edition of The Times, which reaches 10 million followers, and on July 2 in the Sunday Times with a circulation of 588,000 copies.

Bearing in mind the influence of the mentioned media, it is expected that this campaign will result in an improved image of Montenegro on the UK market and contribute to the growth of interest from this market.
