The second "Bird Salt People" - a festival dedicated to the Ulcinj salt pan, but also to the promotion of other protected areas, is held in Ulcinj, organized by the NGO "Dr. Martin Dr. Schneider-Jacoby".

On August 26, the festival opened with a concert by the Montenegrin Youth Orchestra, and after numerous activities, such as bird watching, presentation of local flavors, products and handicrafts, exhibitions, workshops, documentaries and a donor evening, "Bird Salt People" will close on September 16.

"To meet the sunset, from 17:00 to 21:00, we are organizing a Market Day in the Ulcinj Saltworks, with over 20 exhibitors of various products, traditional flavors and imaginative handicrafts. Diversity from Ulcinj is waiting for you on September 2 and 3 in the Ulcinj Saltworks" - it is written on the organizer's Facebook page.

In addition, also on September 2 and 3, Slow food will be organized at the same place - workshops on the preparation of "the lightest food, with a lot of attention, love and nurturing of tradition". Workshops start at 9 am and last until 1 pm.

This year's festival, apart from CZIP and Euro Natura, was also supported by the Municipality of Ulcinj, the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Petrović Njegoš Foundation, the National Parks of Montenegro and several local companies.
