For the first time, Podgorica will be connected by a direct flight to the popular all-inclusive destination Antalya, as announced by the Airports of Montenegro.
The route will be launched by SunExpress, an airline entering the Montenegrin market for the first time. Flights are scheduled from June 14 until the end of October, operating twice per week – on Tuesdays and Sundays.
In addition to Antalya, SunExpress will also introduce a Podgorica–Izmir route. This destination is already served by the low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines. The new service will operate from June 12 until the end of October, twice weekly – on Tuesdays and Fridays.
SunExpress is jointly owned, with 50% stakes, by the Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines and the German aviation group Lufthansa Group.
