The experts highly recommended experiencing a boat trip on these destinations to "cruise along the tranquil turquoise waters" and "explore all the bustling cities and magnificent coastlines".
A number of locations in the Mediterranean are "waiting to be uncovered", the experts said, with many lively ports and "hidden gems which will take your breath away"
Some of the travel guru's "favourites" are Kotor, in Montenegro, Ibiza, in Spain, Corsica, in France, and Sibenik, in Croatia.
Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is "perhaps one of the more 'underrated' Mediterranean hotspots is Montenegro," the experts said, but it is starting to make its way onto the radar of tourists across the globe.
Growing in popularity for its "small-town charm, golden beaches and beautiful mountainous views", the bay of Kotor makes a particularly "magnificent boating destination".
The travel gurus explained that it is "perfect for a group trip" as holidaymakers can rent a boat for an excursion around the bay for only £132 per day.
Holidaymakers can visit the picturesque towns of Kotor, Perast and the tiny island of Our Lady of the Rocks, and the most stunning views are definitely from the boat.
